  • What’s included in a pop-up picnic?
    We have 3 Pop-Up Packages to get your started. Please see Packages with the breakdown of what's included in each. There are always luxury add ons and the ability to build your own picnic experience such as the: !. Custom Delight starting at $355 for 2 Picnickers- Build your own custom luxury picnic. We start you off with low sitting picnic table Pillows and blankets Plates, utensils and formal napkins candles and table decor Waters or seltzers
  • Bad Weather?
    We sometimes have to change dates or times due to weather. Because rain in the Outer Banks area is highly unpredictable (we regularly see days with a 100% chance of rain, only to have sunny skies all day). If it looks like weather may affect your reservation, we will reach out with options as we are happy to switch up the location to your backyard or deck area.. If you can’t reschedule, you may collect a full refund, excluding food & flowers.
  • Arrival time?
    Your We ask the guests to arrive on time to their reserved picnic time.
  • What happens if we show up late?
    Your picnic starts at the scheduled time you selected during your reservation. – We have a 15-minute grace period. Please notify our team if you are going to be late.
  • Can we have a fire at the picnic?
    Unfortunately, The OBX does not allow fires of any kind on the beach. However, if you choose the firepit option (contained flame / additional cost) this is allowed on the beach.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
    Yes, we do! They can be purchased for any dollar amount. They make wonderful & unique gifts
  • Do you provide alcoholic beverages?
    No, we are not licensed to provide or transport alcohol
  • What are the food & beverage options/can we bring our own food & beverages?
    Absolutely! Our job is to provide a beautiful setting for your luxury picnic and of course make your event as stress free as possible! We partner with several local businesses for food from sandwich trays, sushi, pizza, cakes, cupcakes, boards, chocolate covered strawberries, etc.
  • How far in advance should I book?
    Book ASAP! We are currently booking for the 2023 season.
  • How do I select a location?
    We service Corolla, Corova (additional charge), Duck, and Southern Shores. Upon booking you have the option to select your location. This will also depend on your sunrise or sunset options. If you have an address or landmark, we will try to get as close as possible. We can’t accommodate all requests, but we will do our best. Additional charges for excess travel may apply. Don’t know where to go? Please let us suggest a few of our favorites!
  • Can we leave at our convenience, during the picnic?
    If you would like to leave earlier than the scheduled and confirmed time, please give us a 30-minute notice, via phone or text. You are responsible for all the picnic items until we are able to return.
  • Can I choose my decorations?
    We’re a locally owned small business, but our offerings are continually expanding. If you’ve seen a detail/item/style or color scheme on our social media that you have a preference for, let us know when you book.
  • Do you have anyone that will take professional photos?
    Yes! We would be happy to connect you.
